It has been a moment since I wrote a blog post. However, I have found Copic peace!! Yes, there is such a thing.
Awhile back, I bought the new Copic case. I even did a video on it. You can check it out here.
A few days after that video, I bought these clear cases by Copic to put into the case. I ended up needing one more but I never bought it.
My issue with the 72 count clear case is that putting the little tops on the markers, is just doing too much. What I mean is this, you have to wiggle it and I don’t have time for that. I want my markers to just slide in and keep it moving.
Prior to that, I had tried to use the light grate that I saw many using but when I tried it out, after an hour trip to Lowe’s, it was not for me. My markers would go in sideways and then it was difficult to pull them out. It was just too small. I did not even get all my markers inside before I tossed it.
So, now that I have given you a little background of me trying to find peace, I have finally found peace.
My peace is here and I have the pictures to match.
So, I am part of a coloring group called Kit and Clowder. I was looking at the group and noticed the ladies talking about Copic storage. Plus the storage could fit into my new Copic case. I was a little hesitant at first because of past experience. However, I was like you know what, I’ll take a chance. So, I ordered it from TJandThings on Etsy.
It came while we were in New York and I was happy to see it when I got home.
Last night I brought up my case and decided to add my Copics to it while in bed. Mistake #1. hahaha
So, here are the 72 count cases I told you guys about. I originally purchased 5 of them on Oozak site along with my Copic case.
So here is what I’ll be putting in my case and according to their site, you can paint it if you want. I also love the space for your favorite re-inkers too!
Then as I am putting my markers into the slots, one of my markers did not go all the way down. I looked and one of my Copics were at the bottom, that meant, I had to take the entire piece out. I slid it up and thought ok well maybe I can recover. No, they ended up like this picture. So, I ended up starting over.
Sure I should have the brush side up because that’s the side I use but that quickly faded away because I just wanted them in the case. hahahaha
Voila! Here are all my Copics. At the far right, you see my two colorless blenders and 100 markers. I am going to add my extra markers that I use the most in the other remaining spots.
I am really happy about this case and now I have Copic case peace!
Thanks for stopping by.
